Barbecue Sites:
  • The Virtual Weber Bullet website has a ton of barbecue information, including forums covering every aspect of barbecuing. In addition to the general info, the site has a lot of information devoted to the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker, which (I believe) was the impetus of the site being created. If you are thinking of getting a Weber smoker, this is the place to go. If you already have a Weber smoker, this is the place to go. If you just want barbecue information, there's a ton of that here as well.

  • Kick Ass BBQ is a site I visited to check out their Quick Cook Boston Butt method. Instead of sixteen to twenty hours for pork butt, it claims five hours for the same quality. At the time of this being added, I've not tried that version so can't say yet how it comes out for me. But I have tried the twenty hour version, and that cook made me decide to give it a try. Nothing wrong with a twenty hour smoking process, but sometimes you need something where the variation in time is a smaller number of hours, not to mention something a bit quicker. I will be giving it a try the next time I do butts, and will update with my results.
  • Team Double Smoke's BBQ Tips page is one I ran across while doing some searching. I saved it here because I want to try the pot roast. I'll let you know how it turns out.
